Brittany B, Practice Manager/ Veterinary Nurse
Brittany is a technician that has been with Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since February 2018. She has been in the veterinary field since 2006 and received her CVA in 2017. Brittany has experience in emergency care, general practice and has a special interest in dentistry. At home she has her dog Darwin, a corgi mix, and three cats, Ryuk, Ling and Snape. When she’s not helping our patients she enjoys beach trips and going to theme parks.
Jill, Veterinary Nurse
Jill has been a veterinary technician since 2002. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but her favorite aspects are anesthesia monitoring, anesthesia, and emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with Give kids the world village, going to the beach, and spending time with her 2 nephews. Jill shares her home with her rescue dog, Ellen, and her senior cat named Seabiscuit.
Tanya, Veterinary Nurse
Tanya has been working at Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since April 2017. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2005. She has 2 pets, a cat named Tang and a dog named Jolie. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, going to the beach, and sporting events.
Sandi, Customer Service Representative
Sandi has been with us since October 2018. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. Sandi really enjoys customer service and helping clients with their pets needs. She loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She has a cat named Buddy and a dog named Madie.
Cayla, Customer Service Representative
Cayla has been with Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since 2021. She has been in the veterinary field since 2019 and is going to school for Marine Biology. She likes helping clients and their pets. Cayla enjoys being outdoors and has a German Shepherd named Luna.
Dee Dee, Groomer
Dee Dee has been in the grooming field for 18 years. She enjoys grooming because she likes to spoil her clients and make them look great. In her spare time, Dee Dee enjoys spending with her family and her son, Walker. She loves all kinds of animals, but loves doing dog training the most.
Katrina, Veterinary Assistant & Kennel Assistant
Katrina has been working for Lakeland Veterinay Hospital since 2018. She graduated from Hillsborough Community College May 2018 with an associate degree in science for Veterinary Technology. She loves working with animals and all parts of her job. In her spare time, she takes care of her 3 children; Jontae, Shaelyn, and Levi. She has 4 dogs named Stitch, Sebastian, Baby, and Luna. She also has an African spur foot tortoise named Morla.
Misty, Veterinary Assistant
Misty has been in the field since 2019. She enjoys helping animals and seeing different kinds of animals. She has cats and dogs. She enjoys spending time with her son and her pets.
Amber, Kennel Assistant
Amber joined our crew in September 2020. She has a Husky named Memphis & a mixed Maine Coon cat named Batman, they are basically her children. In her free time, she enjoys going to Disney World & spending time with her friends and family. She loves working with animals & wants to enroll into school to become a Veterinary Technician in the future.
Heather, Veterinary Assistant & Kennel Technician
Heather has been with Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since June 2023 and has been working with farm animals, reptiles and arachnids since 2010. She loves four wheeling with her South African Boerboel, Angus and flying planes with her dad. She also loves playing instruments and designing floral arrangements in her spare time.
Kathleen, Kennel Technician
Kathleen has been with Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since January 2023. Working with animals has always been a passion of hers. She has a husky named Bear, a black lab named Buddy and a cat named Trooper. In her free time, she also loves shopping and spending time with family and friends.
